Bluelab Design have submitted the T965 – Timber 90x65mm profile for Photometric testing, Heat tests and C-Tick safety approval certificates. The Timber 965 is now more than just a decorative LED Timber luminaire. With Photometric testing and IES files now available, Engineers and Lighting designers are able to include the T965 in their calculations. Timber is desirable in Architectural fit outs for aesthetic reasons, warmth the timber brings into an environment, products produced using timber have a lower carbon footprint rather than aluminium or steel alternatives.
The Timber 965 was tested with an Osram PCB and Opal diffuser at a 1200mm length. T965 is 74 lumens per watt. Testing of the T965 with a Y8 diffuser will commence soon. The T965 produces even illumination over the length of the luminaire with adequate lighting for offices, meeting rooms, over bench lighting, reception area lighting and cafe/shop lighting.
Being manufactured and hand crafted in Geelong, Victoria we can produce our entire Timber range to your project specifications. Our linear Timber range can be made in lengths up to 3m without a join. While we manufacture the Timber range in Sustainable Victorian Ash other sustainable hard woods can be used or reclaimed timber.
